Martin Reuter

Managing Director

As Managing Director at ingenhoven architects, Martin Reuter is jointly responsible for the practice’s architectural language. He has been working for ingenhoven architects since his graduation from Aachen Technical University (RWTH) in 1998. He was appointed Project Director in 2006 and, in 2010, became Managing Director.

Martin Reuter has extensive experience of all phases of the design process, from design to project implementation and administration. The main focus of his activities is on international projects, specializing in large projects in Asia and Australia. The supergreen® aspect, which is a key focus of the ingenhoven architects practice, plays an important role in the design concept for all projects.

Martin Reuter was responsible for the Marina One project in Singapore, which won the Mipim Award in 2018, and for the development at 1 Bligh in Sydney—the only building in Australia to be awarded the Six-Star rating, the highest Australian rating under the Green Star scheme, and the 5-star NABERS energy rating. In 2008, the first environmentally friendly high-rise building in Japan, the Breezé Tower in Osaka, was completed. Previously, Martin Reuter worked on projects such as 71 Robinson Road, Singapore, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg.

Martin Reuter is currently in charge of some of the practice’s large projects, such as the Toranomon development in Tokyo and Mapletree Bay Point in Hong Kong.

Eugene Seah

Senior Director, Special Projects – Group CEO’s Office

Eugene joined Surbana Jurong Group on January 1 2017, as Senior Director, Group CEO’s office to spearhead and overseas the Group’s special projects, in particular Group initiative on Sustainable, BIM and Productivity. He is also a Director on the Boards of Threesixty Cost Management and Threesixty Contract Advisory for which his extensive knowledge and expertise will help fortify the business thrust of the Group.

Eugene graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (1st Class Hons) from the University of Reading in 1999 and a BSc in Technology Management and Computing (1st Class Hons) from the University of Portsmouth in 2002. He has also completed an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from the joint NUS and Kings College London programme, a Msc in Sustainable Building Design from the University of Nottingham and the Senior Management Development Program from Harvard Business School

Eugene is highly experienced in Quantity Surveying and often injects sustainability value management and green approaches into his work to achieve to project efficiency. He is a Green Mark professional and is knowledgeable in sustainable buildings. He is also an Accredited Adjudicator under Singapore Mediation Centre and a registered Mediator in the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.

Eugene is now working on enhancing productivity in Design and Construction and researching on Computational BIM, VR/MR and other productivity enhancement topics for the Surbana Jurong Group

Passionate about teaching, Eugene is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Building, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore.

Apart from his professional work, Eugene enjoys carrying out community services projects and volunteers his time in the strategic level of planning and execution in community work. He is a Councillor in a Community Development Council in Singapore and holds key positions in Volunteer Welfare.

Jose Silva

Executive Principle

José Cláudio Silva is an Architect and Executive Principal at AEDAS in Singapore. José has built a versatile career working in a wide range of Architectural sectors, namely Master Planning, Mixed-Use, Office, Hospitality, Residential, Convention and Exhibition. His experience encompasses all phases of Project, from Concept Design to Documentation, and Site Assistance.

José made his academic studies in “IST – UTL”, Portugal and “ESTAB – UPC”, Barcelona
– Spain, having graduated in 2003. Stillas a student he worked with Professor Jordi Bellmunt (BiArq, Barcelona) and João Nunes (PROAP, Lisbon) for the Alamillo Park Concept Design Competition, Seville, Spain. (1stPrize).

His professiona lcareer was started with his former Professor Manuel Vicentein”MV Ltd”, in Macau. From 2003 to 2005 he participated in several Master Plans, Urban Parksand Institutional Buildings, namely in the Nam Van Lakes Area-Macau.

José joined Aedas Hong Kong in December 2006 where he worked in the Saint Regis Hotel and Service Apartments’ Tower in Cotai Parcel 5&6, Macau until the end of 2017. In January 2008 he moved to Aedas Singapore where he was the Team Leader for Skypark in Marina Bay Sands. Subsequently he was involved in the construction stage of “Sentosa Boardwalk”, in Singapore, and thedesign of “Danga Bay” Concept Master Plan in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. From 2011, he has been co-leading the Design for Projects in Indonesia, and leading the opportunities in Cambodia, Philippines and Oman.

Some of the Projects in which Jose participated were award winning, like Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Boardwalk and MNC Mixed-Use Tower.

Tan Chee Kiang


A director at DP Architects (DPA), Mr Tan Chee Kiang holds that design and spatial planning calls for flexibility so as to provide for a wide spectrum of users while accommodating to evolving needs and creating opportunities for interactions among the community. His open and innovative approach to architecture has made him stand out from his peers. Among Chee Kiang’s portfolio of works are the notable One Marina Boulevard, the first new office development in Singapore’s Marina Bay back in 2001; and the recently completed prime 40-storey skyscraper, Frasers Tower.

Gieto Sugianto

Design Principal

Gieto Sugianto, Design Principal in Architects 61, received his Master Degree in Architecture from Rheinish – Westphalian Technological University of Aachen, Germany in 1985 where he was a recipient of various categories of design awards in limited and nationwide students’ design competition.

He has almost 30 years’ experience in Design, Design Development and overseeing a diversity of projects in Residential, Commercial, Institutional, Recreational, Transportation, Healthcare and Industrial. His passion in design and specific expertise in design development and detailing has made him one of the valuable contributors in transforming Architects 61 into one of the corporate design firms in Singapore.

Gieto and his team has won numerous limited design competitions, Changi Airport Terminal 1 Upgrade, The Coast at Sentosa Cove, Seascape and Cape Royal at Sentosa Cove, 42 Cairnhill Road (Tan Chin Tuan Mansion), NUH-Central Oral Health , NUS-Admin Building, NUS-EIM Labs, HSA at Outram and many others including the recent Esplanade Waterfront Theater. He has also been involved in Master Planning projects overseas in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam and won an international competition for Tai Nguyen’s Master Plan in Ho Chi Minh City.

Gieto was the Lead Designer responsible for “The Heeren” in Singapore a renowned retail commercial hub, which won the SIA Best Buildable Design Award in 1998, 4th SIA Micro Design Award (Merit) in 2004, Newton Gems Condominium which won Best Buildable Design Awards from BCA in 2004, SIA architectural Design Awards 2006 for Nanyang Junior College, 42 Cairnhill Road and People’s Association HQ (PAHQ) which won the URA Architectural Heritage Awards in 2008 and 2009 respectively. SIA Design Award for PAHQ 2011, BCA Green Mark Award, and Platinum for luxurious Residential development of Ardmore Three, Commercial and Institutional projects and many others including SIA Architectural Design Award 2015 for Ardmore Three Residences, LTA Excellence Design Award 2016 for Little India Downtown line station, S.ARCH Project Award (Best Completed Project) and Singapore Design Award (Spatial – Platinum) for NUS-Admin Building 2017.

Gabriel Chen


Gabriel Chen has more than 32 years of architectural experience in leading major projects in Singapore and other cities such as London, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Shanghai, covering a range of building types. He was instrumental in the design development of many award-winning projects such as the Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay, LASALLE College of the Arts, ION Orchard and Dover MRT Station. The key success of these projects is attributed to a comprehensive and exhaustive process to offer innovative and inventive design solutions. Gabriel also worked closely with Toyo Ito & Associates Architects for the design development of CapitaGreen.

Robert Brodeth

Associate Director

Robert Brodeth is Associate Director for Architecture at the multidisciplinary firm Ong&Ong in Singapore. He is responsible for the concept and design development of large-scale and prototype projects in the region; particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, and most recently in Vietnam.
His notable mixed-use institutional architecture are Heartbeat@Bedok, a pioneering integrated civic complex, and Singapore Red Cross House, a new headquarters building with historic conservation of the old building. Both are in Singapore and were commissioned through national design competitions. Prior to Ong&Ong, he started his career in mixed-use megaprojects such as the Marina Bay Financial Center and Marina One, landmark developments enhancing Singapore’s skyline under Kohn Pedersen Fox and at Architects61, respectively.

David Yim

Sales & Marketing Senior Manager

Mr. David Yim leads the sales and marketing of Halio glass and Glassiled in Asia. His smart glass industry experience in Southeast Asia for the past four years stems from his career interest in sustainable building materials and urban design. For example, he led the project to install the largest BIPV glass canopy (2,600sqm) in Southeast Asia at the Tanjong Pagar Centre, Singapore. Prior to the smart glass industry, David was an urban planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore. He led the project to prepare the Singapore government land sales tender of the Paya Lebar Quarter project. He holds a Masters in City Planning and Bachelors of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mathieu Meur


Prior to joining DP Architects Group of companies, Mr. Meur was the Managing Director of one of the largest façade consultancy practices in the world, providing strategic and technical leadership for the Group. He was heavily involved in the construction of the Changi Airport Terminal 1 Upgrading, Resorts World Sentosa and The Dubai Mall, amongst others . Through his training as a multi-disciplinary engineer and subsequent years of experience, Mr. Meur has developed extensive knowledge of all types of building envelope systems in terms of design, engineering and related codes of practice.

Passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with others, he is a frequent speaker at conferences, writes for technical publications, and has been a Lecturer at the Building and Construction Authority, and at the Real Estate & Construction Centre. Mr. Meur is also a Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers of Singapore and a fellow of the Society of Façade Engineering (UK). Mr. Meur joined DP Architects in 2016 to work on mega-projects and spearhead technical innovation.


John Stanlake

Technical Director

John is a Technical Director of Inhabit Singapore. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. This has been primarily in the structural and façade disciplines working with consultants, main and management contractors and with specialist façade sub-contractors.

His wealth of experience with façade design, buildability, procurement and contractors etc has ensured many projects regionally and in Singapore have been a success meeting the many stakeholders requirements.

John has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, he is a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers (Australia) and a Chartered Professional Engineer (Australia). He also has a Post Graduate Diploma of Business Administration.


Kousik Toppe

Sustainability Leader

Kousik Toppe is high calibre Sustainable design Consultant with over 18 years’ international experience in design and construction with strong focus on Sustainability, Research and Training. Strong proponent and facilitator of Green buildings, with a track record of delivering more than dozens of projects certified with Green Mark, LEED, GBI and many other WGBC recognized green building certifications/ standards. Effective speaker, presenter and negotiator with extended experience in teaching and research in the sustainable design.

Kousik Toppe is an Architect by training and has a specialisation in Building Sciences. He is also an expert in handling building performance analysis tools such as CFD Analysis, Daylighting& Glare analysis, Solar studies for thermal and shadow analysis etc. He has a specific interest in finding a balance between active and passive design strategies to achieve smart and sustainable building design.

Currently serving as Sustainability Leader at Meinhardt Singapore (Pte) Ltd. – Singapore (a multi-disciplinary consultancy company).

Lucia (Xia) Lung

Director Facade, China Region

Lucia has 36 years’ experience in Building Industry and includes 24 years’ experience in Facade engineering. She has extension experience of design and consultancy in facade engineering and Building Maintenance Unit including unitized curtain wall, double skin curtain wall, stick curtain wall, glass wall, window wall, precast concrete, terracotta, stone and metal cladding, glass skylight and roof, glass canopy and glass balustrade systems etc. She has involved many major international projects throughout Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, New Zealand and Fiji with extensive experience including the consultancy service, facade systems and details design, aluminium extrusion design, material selection and limitation, and broad knowledge including Architecture, Structure, Building Maintenance Unit and construction. She has involved many key projects in the world for Facade Projects.

Agnes Koltay


Agnes Koltay holds a Masters in Architecture (Hungary, USA) and a Masters in Façade Engineering (UK). She founded Koltay Façades in 2011. Her experience in all aspects of facade engineering consultancy provides a unique expertise within the industry. She has completed projects in several countries, both cold and hot climate, and is a specialist in high-rise and complex geometry facades. She carried out the research in cold bent composite glazed systems and regularly speaks at conferences. Before setting up Koltay Façades, Agnes gained experience as Head of Façades department of large multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firms, and worked with award-winning architects such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Ramboll and Mainhardt.

April Soh

Façade Consultant, Director, Singapore

April Soh has a degree in Structural Engineering from Australia and a Environment Engineering Diploma form Singapore. April has strong experience in façade system engineering and project management. She has valuable experience with engineering systems and has worked extensively in the Middle East, Melbourne, Singapore and Hong Kong. Working in all aspects of façade engineering and consultancy, her experience covers multiple project types and is focused on project management. Since July 2016 she has been head of Koltay Façades Singapore Office.

Paula Albendin Iglesias

International Product Manager

Paula has a degree in arquitecture from the University Higher Polytechnic School of Madrid. After working with the architect Iñaki Abalos in international projects, she decided to undertake a new approach in the multinational Cosentino as an expert in construction materials. During the last four years she has been the international manager of Dekton Product, participating in the elaboration of strategic plans, management new material launches and developing the façade business, positioning Dekton as a reference material for architects.

She has broad experience of design and consultancy service in facade and engineering projects, being involved in many major international projects throughout USA, Europe and Asia

Simon King

President & CEO

Simon has worked in the field of Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials for more than 20 years. His career commenced with working for the Molecular Science Division of Australia’s preeminent government research organisation the CSIRO. This was followed with 9 years at Akzo Nobel (at that time the World’s largest coatings company) and culminating in founding Nanokote, a specialised, high technology nanocoating manufacturing company in Melbourne, Australia in 2005. Since 2005, Nanokote has grown internationally to have manufacturing in both Melbourne Australia and Dallas, Texas USA.
